Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history and related mental health conditions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on both addiction and any underlying mental health issues, working to integrate the well-being of the whole person.

• Facilitate engaging both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices to foster a supportive environment for clients.

• Participate in regular multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure cohesive treatment strategies and to coordinate care with other professionals involved in the clients’ recovery.

• Educate and actively involve clients’ families in the recovery process, providing them with necessary tools and resources for support.

• Maintain complete and accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals struggling with substance abuse issues, many of whom may also face co-occurring mental health disorders. This role is pivotal in supporting clients from diverse backgrounds and varying stages of recovery, enabling them to achieve lasting sobriety and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD.

• Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is highly desirable.

• Thorough knowledge of evidence-based practices in treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
