The Payroll Specialist should be a trustworthy and efficient individual who wants to grow their knowledge and skills of payroll accounting in an energetic, innovative and fast paced environment./ppPosition Overview: The Payroll Specialist will support the Human Resources and Accounting departments with handling company payroll, benefit processing, and other related work. The Payroll Specialist should be super personable and be able to work independently as well as with a team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to gain invaluable experience in payroll with a growing and developing company./ppResponsibilities:/pulliManaging high volume semi-monthly payroll/liliEnsure compliance with company policies and regulations/liliData entry and handling of new hire paperwork/liliTime card auditing and PTO recording/liliEmployee benefits and 401k adjustments and processing/liliInformation filing and reporting/liliAssist employees with Payroll information/liliTaxation preparation/liliExpense reporting/liliInter-department communication within the company/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pEducation Requirements:/pulliBachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics/li/ulpQualifications:/pulli1 to 3 years of payroll experience/liliExperience working in QuickBooks/liliProficient in Excel (formulas, v-lookups, pivot tables) Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask/liliCustomer Service Experience/liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills Positive attitude and professional/liliMust have experience doing ADP payroll/liliMust have experience with ADP Workforce Now/li/ul/div
