Baker's Field Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our thriving outpatient office in Oakland, California. Our outpatient office is designed with state-of-the-art facilities, including a spacious 5000 square feet area dedicated to sports medicine and rehabilitation. Our team consists of experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all focused on delivering high-quality care primarily to patients covered by private medical insurance.

Work Environment

This is an onsite role situated in our outpatient therapy facility in Oakland, California. Our practice operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a supportive and structured environment conducive to professional growth. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their specific rehabilitation needs and set achievable goals.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure personalized attention and comprehensive care for each client.
• Implement effective treatment strategies using a variety of techniques, promoting independence and function.
• Develop and customize fitness and wellness programs tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
• Emphasize non-surgical treatment options, minimizing reliance on medications through innovative therapy alternatives.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment journey, optimizing their overall functionality.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create multidisciplinary approaches that enhance patient outcomes.
• Regularly assess treatment progress and adapt care plans as necessary, ensuring transparency with patients about their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatments, compliant with healthcare regulations and practice standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients requiring orthopedic care, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. We emphasize a holistic approach to therapy that considers each patient's lifestyle, goals, and specific challenges, enabling us to foster their recovery efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in California, with no disciplinary actions recorded.
• Exemplary skills in manual therapy techniques and experience in executing dynamic exercise programs.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, including familiarity with WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based practices and patient-centered care methodologies.
• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
