Work Environment

This is a full-time, onsite position located in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in San Francisco. At our facility, we embrace a culture of collaboration, learning, and growth. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting one-on-one assessments for each patient and developing personalized treatment plans with clearly defined, measurable goals.
• Documenting patient progress thoroughly, ensuring that relevant clinical summaries are communicated to other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care.
• Implementing advanced therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of cutting-edge technology, such as frequency-specific microcurrent, Normatec devices, and the Neubie system.
• Engaging with patients during follow-up calls and providing educational resources that encourage adherence to home exercise programs.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of therapists to share client care and expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary clientele will consist of athletic and highly motivated individuals, predominantly aged 35 and above, including elite and professional athletes. We also cater to children and teens presenting with orthopedic conditions. Our patients tend to embrace their health journeys, committing to the prescribed treatment plans and lifestyle changes that lead to remarkable recovery outcomes. This role is ideal for a therapist who thrives in a positive, results-oriented environment, working with clients who share a dedication to their health.

Qualifications

• A valid California state license to practice as a physical therapist.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, demonstrating advanced skills in manual therapy.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and excellence in patient care.
• The capability to teach small group fitness classes (3-6 participants) is beneficial to the role.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
