Your contributions will encompass promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for those in your care.

We operate within a state-of-the-art 5,000 square feet sports medicine environment, equipped with the latest technologies and treatment tools to ensure our patients receive the best care possible. Our center primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, emphasizing personalized treatment and comprehensive recovery plans.

Work Environment

Your role will be based onsite at our bustling outpatient office in Oakland, where you will collaborate closely with a dynamic team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). We foster an environment that values teamwork, professional development, and a strong commitment to evidence-based practices. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life commitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address the objectives and requirements of each patient.
• Effectively manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality, tailored interventions.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient settings to design and implement cost-effective treatment plans.
• Maximize patient mobility and minimize reliance on medications by offering alternative rehabilitation solutions.
• Create comprehensive care strategies employing various therapeutic techniques.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
• Deliver evidence-based care through proven interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to reinforce their functional capabilities.
• Encourage a healthy lifestyle by improving your patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Engage in collaborative consultations with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
• Monitor and document patients' progress and treatment effectiveness, maintaining clear communication.
• Accurately document all services and care provided to patients to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse population of adults requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, including post-surgical patients, individuals recovering from injuries, and those seeking to improve their overall health and physical performance. Your role will be critical in helping these patients achieve their personal goals and overcome physical limitations.

Qualifications

• A valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Exemplary record with no board actions, sanctions, or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Strong skills in designing and implementing exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Experience with advanced rehabilitation technologies and modalities.
• Proven track record of developing successful patient care plans and treatment protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
