OrthoSport PT is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our vibrant team at our outpatient orthopedic facility in Berkeley, California. Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work onsite in a fast-paced rehabilitation facility dedicated to orthopedic outpatient health. Our office operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing a balanced work schedule. Here, we implement evidence-based practices and prioritize patient-centric care, while also fostering a collaborative team dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Administer various therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, adapting each session to the patient's evolving needs.
• Educate patients and their families about their treatment plans, expected outcomes, and provide guidance on home exercises to ensure continued progress outside of sessions.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to create a cohesive treatment strategy, ensuring optimal outcomes for each patient.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment sessions in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques by participating in ongoing professional development and training.
• Provide emotional support, encouragement, and motivation to patients during their recovery journey, helping them overcome physical and psychological barriers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base primarily consists of individuals seeking recovery from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist at OrthoSport PT, you will work with patients of varying ages, from young athletes to older adults, each requiring tailored rehabilitation strategies that promote optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctoral degree is a plus.
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of California.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification recognized by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• A strong commitment to delivering quality patient care within a collaborative environment.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating proficiency in evaluating and treating musculoskeletal conditions.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and experience in managing sports injuries, postoperative rehabilitation, and chronic pain are highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

Our full-time Physical Therapist role offers a competitive salary ranging between $110,000 and $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
