Business Analyst / Data Analyst
Seeking a senior Business Analyst/Data Analyst to support the Wealth Management Monitoring team within Non-Financial Risk Technology. The role focuses on business analysis, data analysis, and project delivery for compliance and surveillance platforms supporting Risk and Compliance functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements (BRDs, Agile user stories, POCs).
- Perform data analysis to identify gaps and partner with cross-functional teams on solutions.
- Liaise with development teams to ensure accurate delivery against requirements.
- Design, write, and execute BDD and UAT test plans.
- Manage project plans, timelines, and risks; escalate issues as needed.
- Lead stakeholder communication and mentor junior team members.
Required skills and experience include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in global organizations.
- Strong data analysis skills with hands-on SQL and relational databases.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with trade lifecycles and asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Options, Futures).
- Knowledge of compliance surveillance platforms (Actimize, MANTAS, SunGard, SMARTS).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- IT Project Management experience (Agile/Waterfall).
- Experience with large-scale development initiatives.
- Knowledge of trades, positions, and reference data.
