Hospitality / Backup Reception Specialist

Overview Seeking an Hospitality and Backup Reception Services Specialist to join our team in downtown Chicago. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in customer service, possess excellent communication abilities, and are a team player. Prior hospitality experience is highly preferred. This position will be responsible for fostering a professional and pleasant working environment by providing excellent customer service in the fields of general office services, hospitality, reception and facilities maintenance and coordination. Hourly Compensation: $18.00-$19.00/hr USD Hours: 9am - 6pm Responsibilities The Office Services role is responsible for providing on-site Hospitality Support Services. Other duties include: Professional and friendly customer service; verbal and written interaction with internal and external clients Set-up and break-down of meetings, including cleaning conference rooms regularly Restock inventory for kitchens and general office supplies Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines; take direction from supervisor Participate in cross‑training for other service areas as needed in Reception Services/Copy/Mail Services Maintain all logs and reporting documentation; attention to detail Adhere to all safety procedures; perform other tasks as assigned Operating mailing, copy and fax equipment Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude Shipping & Receiving; Ordering supplies; Pick‑up and deliver mail, parcels, copy jobs and faxes to customers Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment Qualifications Ideal candidates have the ability to confidently interact with clients and visitors, possess excellent communication abilities, and are ready to grow in their professional career. Previous experience in a hospitality role is a huge plus! Other qualifications include: Prior Law Firm or Hotel Experience a plus!
