Hospitality / Backup Reception Specialist

Overview Seeking an Hospitality and Backup Reception Services Specialist to join our team in downtown Chicago. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in customer service, possess excellent communication abilities, and are a team player. Prior hospitality experience is highly preferred. The position will provide professional customer service and support in general office services, hospitality, reception, and facilities maintenance and coordination. Hourly Compensation $18.00 - $19.00 per hour USD Hours 9am - 6pm Responsibilities Professional and friendly customer service; verbal and written interaction with internal and external clients. Set-up and break-down of meetings, including cleaning conference rooms. Restock inventory for kitchens and general office supplies. Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines; take direction from supervisor. Participate in cross-training for other service areas as needed. Maintain logs and reporting documentation. Adhere to all safety procedures; perform other tasks as assigned. Operate mailing, copy and fax equipment. Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude. Shipping & Receiving; ordering supplies; pick-up and deliver mail, parcels, copy jobs and faxes to customers. Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high-volume production environment. Qualifications Prior law firm or hotel experience is a plus. Microsoft Office proficiency required. High school diploma or GED required; authorization to work in the US required. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to work individually or in a team environment; willingness to cross-train for other job functions. Ability to meet employer's attendance policy. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
