Chief Executive Officer

the client is seeking a mission-driven Chief Executive Officer to lead efforts that empower youth ages 18–24 experiencing homelessness, disconnection, and exploitation. the organization provides safe haven and comprehensive wraparound services, including housing, workforce readiness, job placement, and drop-in services, along with case management, mental health support, and post-secondary assistance. The CEO will provide stability, safety, and hope for youth during a critical period of life, helping guide tailored, long-term solutions that address barriers beyond short-term housing. the CEO will guide the client through organizational renewal by strengthening leadership capacity, advancing financial sustainability, and ensuring programs and partnerships continue to produce meaningful outcomes for the young people served. The role will involve leading and developing high-performing teams while fostering a positive and inclusive organizational culture. Executive leadership experience—ideally in nonprofit or human services settings and other mission-driven environments—is expected, along with the ability to inspire, communicate clearly, and build strong working relationships across internal and external stakeholders. Strong fundraising capability, donor engagement, and external relationship management are essential, as the CEO will serve as a visible ambassador for the organization. The role also requires sound financial and operational acumen, including experience overseeing budgets, strategy, and organizational performance, supported by strategic thinking, sound judgment, and exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. Above all, the next CEO will demonstrate a deep commitment to the client’s mission and values and a passion for advancing dignity, equity, and opportunity for young people, supported by personal qualities such as integrity, credibility, resilience, and adaptability.
