Garibaldi Portside Bistro is hiring a Chef! The Chef will prepare meals, follow establishment recipes, and deliver food in a fast-paced environment. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures. Essential Duties: Setting up, cleaning, and organizing workstations. Collaborating on menus, item costing, and weekly specials. Preparing ingredients, ovens, utensils, and grills for shifts. Ensuring presentation and accuracy for every guest order. Utilizing computer and cloud-based POS systems. Requirements: Culinary Degree Required. Previous experience as a chef in a team environment. Physical endurance to stand for an entire shift and lift 25+ lbs. Legally able to work in establishments serving alcohol (21+). Benefits & Notes: Paid training (with contract) and flexible 4-day work week schedules.
