Veterinary Technician

As a veterinary technician at our clinic, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care services for pets. Daily Responsibilities: Provide small animal care with compassion and expertise Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures Implement Fear Free techniques to ensure a stress-free environment for pets Assist with preventive care treatments and procedures Perform IV catheterization, sample collection, and ultrasound procedures Required Skills: Registered/Certified Veterinary Technician Experience in anesthesia, catheterization, and sample collection Knowledge of internal medicine, discharge planning, and medication administration Ability to provide critical care, triage, and assist in surgical procedures Proficiency in venipuncture, lab experience, X-rays, and other technical skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience in ultrasound procedures Knowledge of advanced surgical techniques Additional certifications in specialized areas of veterinary care Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary: $40,000.00 Maximum Salary: $54,000.00 Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, 401(k), Vacation Leave, Sick Leave, Holiday Pay, Paid Time Off, Continuing Education Company Information: Animal Clinic of East Avenue is a veterinary clinic in Brockport, New York, providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care services for pets.
