Product Marketing Specialist

Our consumer products client in Boston, MA is in search of a Product Marketing Specialist to support their Consumer Experience team. This is a temporary/contract position. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-to-mid-level product or consumer marketer who enjoys getting deep into products, understanding the customer and connecting insights to product development and marketing.

• Pay Rate: $40.00/hour
• Location: South Boston (hybrid, 3x per week in office)

Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of the product portfolio, features, competitive landscape and consumer benefits
• Translate customer and market insights into actionable product recommendations
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and Marketing teams
• Create product demos, training materials, user guides and other engaging content
• Develop and deliver presentations and workshops for internal and external audiences
• Conduct market and competitive research to identify emerging trends and opportunities
• Help inform future product roadmaps and enhance the overall consumer experience

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in product marketing, consumer marketing, insights, category marketing or a related field
• Strong communication, presentation and project management skills
• Ability to quickly learn complex products and translate features into compelling consumer benefits
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a consumer-first mindset
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally and influencing without direct authority
