Job Opportunity IBM is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team in Chicago, focusing on optimizing trading operations and designing an innovative planning platform infused with agentic AI. The role is centered on driving AI-based process transformation specifically within the energy trading sector. Key Responsibilities Analyze and optimize current trading operations to improve efficiency and accuracy. Lead the design and development of a new planning platform integrating agentic AI to enhance decision-making and automation. Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and trading experts to gather and translate requirements into technical and process solutions. Identify opportunities for process improvements leveraging AI technologies to automate routine tasks and enhance operational workflows. Support the implementation of AI-driven solutions that align with business goals and regulatory standards. Monitor trading activities and provide insights to improve risk management and profitability. Document business processes, system specifications, and AI-infused platform functionalities. Assist in testing and validating new platforms and processes to ensure they meet business needs. Provide ongoing support and user training related to AI-enabled trading tools. Required Experience and Skills Proven experience in business analysis within energy trading or related trading domains. Strong understanding of trading operations, risk management, and portfolio planning in energy markets. Experience with AI-based process transformation projects, ideally including agentic AI applications. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams including business, technology, and trading professionals. Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in financial or energy trading environments. Preferred Qualifications Background in energy trading operations or trading platforms. Prior involvement in AI or machine learning projects focused on trading or process automation. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in energy markets. #J-18808-Ljbffr
