Positive Change Therapy, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation facility located in the vibrant community of Coral Springs, Florida. Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Coral Springs, which is equipped with the latest tools and technologies to support effective therapy. Our facility provides a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere where physical therapists work closely with a range of healthcare professionals including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and nursing staff, all geared towards delivering comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of both inpatient and outpatient patients, conducting initial evaluations and developing tailored treatment plans that align with established care standards.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring mobility, relieving pain, and preventing disability. This includes selecting appropriate assessment tools and techniques.
• Document each patient interaction meticulously in our electronic medical record system, ensuring all evaluations, treatments, and billing charges are accurately recorded.
• Perform patient screenings for conditions such as lymphedema and fall risks, and develop preventive strategies to address identified needs.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with an interdisciplinary team to devise optimal treatment strategies, contributing insights gleaned from ongoing patient assessments.
• Participate in educational initiatives, including supervision of interns and students, while also contributing to departmental presentations and publications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients range from individuals recovering from acute injuries to those managing chronic conditions or age-related challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with a varied demographic, including pediatric patients who require specialized therapeutic approaches. Qualifications

• Current Florida Physical Therapy License is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is the minimum requirement, with preference given to candidates holding a Master's or Doctorate degree.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques, including proficiency in trigger point therapy.
• Ability to engage effectively with pediatric patients, understanding their distinct developmental needs.
• Familiarity with hospital medicine practices and comfort working in both clinic and hospital settings.

Preferred Experience

We encourage candidates who have experience in providing inpatient care and demonstrate competence in working with complex patient cases. Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and a commitment to ongoing professional development are also viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
