Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will operate primarily in the comfort of patients' homes, providing tailored therapy that aligns with their unique circumstances. Key Responsibilities

• Document all aspects of patient care meticulously, including treatment plans, clinical services, billing, and correspondence with other healthcare professionals.
• Exhibit excellent clinical knowledge and deliver therapy in a manner that meets patient needs while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations such as HIPAA and Medicare.
• Engage in effective communication with patients, their families, and all members of the healthcare team to foster a cohesive care experience.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with patients, evaluating their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Maintain a small caseload that allows for thorough care and follow-ups, providing lasting improvements in patients' physical well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses extensively on treating a diverse patient population, including pediatric patients and those recovering from surgery or injury. You will utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs. Your work will be centered around fostering mobility, alleviating pain, and enhancing the overall functionality of clients, ensuring that each patient receives compassionate care that respects their unique situations and backgrounds.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher (Master's or Doctorate preferred).
• A valid Florida PT License is mandatory to practice legally in this role.
• Strong foundational knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively assess and treat varied conditions.
• Relevant clinical experience, ideally with at least one year working in an acute care hospital setting.
• Competency in specialized therapy techniques, including trigger point therapy, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience
