Work Environment

This position is onsite, meaning you will be providing care directly within patients' homes, a setting that allows for personalized therapy interventions and a more natural recovery environment. The work week is Monday through Friday, providing a stable routine while allowing you to develop meaningful relationships with your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and needs, reviewing pertinent medical histories and performing assessments to inform tailored treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with patients and their families to explain evaluation findings, set realistic goals, and develop a detailed treatment plan, ensuring all parties are involved in the care process.
• Implement and monitor personalized treatment protocols effectively, adjusting techniques as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, pain management strategies, and healthy lifestyle choices that enhance rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient progress and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating communication with other healthcare providers as needed.
• Engage in continuous professional development, staying updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy and participating in ongoing training offered by One Tap Physio Care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse clientele ranging from post-operative patients recovering from surgeries such as hip and knee replacements to individuals managing chronic conditions such as arthritis or neurological disorders. You will work directly with patients in their home environments, allowing for customized assessments and interventions that traditional therapy settings may not provide.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytic skills for evaluating patient conditions and adapting treatment approaches as needed.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in home care or outpatient settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with specific populations such as geriatric patients, orthopedic cases, and stroke recovery.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
