Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to collect, analyze, and interpret medical histories, physical assessments, and diagnostic information.
• Develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that align with patient goals and the continuum of care, adjusting as necessary based on patient progress.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and interventions, educating patients and families on exercises and procedures to promote optimal recovery.
• Adhere to the Florida State Practice Act and maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility policies.
• Accurately document all patient interactions and outcomes to facilitate billing and maintain a complete patient record.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal health outcomes.
• Conduct regular re-evaluations to assess the effectiveness of intervention strategies and make necessary modifications to treatment plans.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding the rehabilitation process and strategies for ongoing wellness management.

Qualifications

Candidates must also hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential for success in this role.

Preferred Experience

While a Bachelor's degree is required, experience in orthopedic physical therapy is highly preferred. Compensation and Benefits
