WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking top performing CNC Swiss Machinists who are innovative thinkers and reliable team members. Our parts require high changeovers and setups in a low volume – high mix work environment for the harsh environment connectivity market. This role is ideal for a skilled machinist who thrives in a low volume, high-mix, complex, precision environment. WHAT THE DAY-TO-DAY LOOKS LIKE: Responsibilities Complete full set-ups, operate, and adjust CNC swiss-type lathes for low volume, high mix production Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds and speeds, and tool life optimization Interpret and work from blueprints, GD&T specifications, and work instructions Perform precision measurements using inspection instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure part quality Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain efficiency Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols WHAT YOU BRING: Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of experience as machinist on CNC lathes in a low volume, high mix environment Experience with swiss-type and multi-axis CNC lathes (twin spindle) Knowledge of cutting tools, metal properties, and swiss-type and multi-axis lathe operations Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team in a fast-paced production environment Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and attention to detail Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift. Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive movements. Ability to lift, carry, and handle molds, materials, and components within company-established limits. Ability to work around heated equipment, presses, production machinery, and industrial materials.
