Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while utilizing our advanced telehealth systems. Our working hours are predominantly Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, although some degree of scheduling flexibility may be required to accommodate the diverse needs of our clients. We utilize state-of-the-art electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate seamless communication and documentation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to evaluate clients' emotional and psychological states and identify their unique challenges.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the specific cultural contexts and personal backgrounds of your clients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at resolving mental health issues, enhancing resilience, and promoting overall well-being.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, holistic care that addresses all aspects of a client’s mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies; remain available for immediate assistance as needed.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and relevant community resources, empowering them to make informed choices.
\n
• Maintain accurate and secure documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Actively engage in case conferences, team discussions, and ongoing training sessions focused on cultural competency and best practices in therapy.

• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and relevant cultural considerations in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

We serve a wide spectrum of clients from diverse backgrounds, emphasizing support for ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant populations. Your ability to engage with clients sensitively and inclusively will be vital in helping them navigate their mental health challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and a commitment to cultural competence within therapeutic settings.
\n
• Experience providing individual and group therapy using approaches that are both culturally responsive and inclusive.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention skills with a proven ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building rapport with a wide range of individuals.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital applications related to mental health documentation.

• Commitment to maintaining ethical professional boundaries, confidentiality, and a high standard of care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
