NTC Front Desk Attendant (Part-Time)

The Role

As a Front Desk Representative, you will be the welcoming face of the USTA Billie Jean King, National Tennis Center, ensuring a positive experience for all players, students, and guests visiting our facility.

Responsibilities include warmly greeting visitors, assisting with check-ins, and connecting guests to court times, lessons, and program offerings. You will manage point-of-sale transactions and court reservations efficiently in our booking system. You will enforce facility policies and safety standards for court access, bookings, and site usage. You will assist with the Programs department on community outreach, site visits, and website course listings. You will work in conjunction with the program's department to ensure that all classes are uploaded to the NTC website in a timely manner. You will answer customer inquiries via phone and in person regarding pricing, schedules, and event details. You will monitor court usage, operate lighting control panels, and maintain accurate patron profiles. You will support special events and key operations, including US Open assignments directed by the ITC Manager of Operations and Sr. Business Manager.

Who You Are

Previous customer service, hospitality, front desk, or related experience preferred. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a professional phone manner. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn point-of-sale, reservation, and scheduling systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to remain professional, composed, and customer-focused in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed. Must be able to work onsite at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Must be available to work a part-time schedule of up to 28 hours per week.
