Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Insight Global Insight Global seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a 4-month contract to support our finance team during a critical period of operational optimization and reporting. This hybrid role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional with a strong technical background, experience in warehouse and inventory accounting , and a proven track record of process improvement . Familiarity with NetSuite is essential. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries. Oversee inventory and warehouse accounting processes, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting. Optimize and document accounting workflows to improve efficiency and internal controls. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, supply chain, and finance) to ensure accurate cost accounting and inventory tracking. Maintain and enhance NetSuite configurations and reporting tools to support business needs. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies. Support audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries. Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior leadership. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience , including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Strong understanding of technical accounting principles and GAAP . Proven experience with NetSuite ERP . Background in warehouse and inventory accounting is required. Demonstrated success in process optimization and change management. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment. Preferred Skills: Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or e-commerce industries. Familiarity with AICPA standards and internal audit practices. Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools. The pay rate for this role is $30-$55 per hour.
