Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments during initial client meetings to evaluate their mental health status and establish therapeutic objectives.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that are evidence-based and culturally relevant, guiding clients through various therapeutic modalities.

• Facilitate regular telehealth sessions with clients to monitor progress, adjust therapies as necessary, and empower clients with coping strategies and tools they can utilize in daily life.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care, providing referrals as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including those grappling with substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Your experience working with various demographics—across age groups, cultural backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses—will be critical in creating a therapeutic alliance built on trust and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of four years of experience in clinical settings, providing mental health counseling.
\n
• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, fostering an environment of safety and support.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and teletherapy platforms to maintain high standards of care and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
