Desktop Support Engineer - IT Support Engineers

- Desktop Support role responsible for providing technical assistance for end-user systems and devices
- Supports Windows-based environments, laptops, printers, and enterprise applications
- Handles installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktop systems
- End-User Support
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot issues related to Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Fortinet/Fortigate client
- Resolve Polycom/teleconferencing equipment issues
- System Installation & Configuration
- Install and configure Windows operating systems and standard business applications
- Create and deploy packaged applications using Datto tools
- Set up user workstations and perform system imaging
- Software & Patch Management
- Manage software deployments, patches, and updates across systems
- Ensure systems remain up to date with security and compliance standards
- Network & Connectivity Support
- Troubleshoot LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity, VPN access, and domain join issues
- Assist with basic network configuration and access issues
- Asset & Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software assets
- Track and document IT equipment lifecycle
- Backup & Recovery Support
- Perform system backups and assist with disaster recovery processes
- Support restoration activities when required
- Documentation & Reporting
- Create and update technical documentation, FAQs, and user guides
- Maintain knowledge base for common issues and resolutions
- User Lifecycle Management
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes including account setup and workstation provisioning
- Ensure proper access control and compliance with IT policies
- Collaboration & Compliance
- Work with network, server, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution
- Ensure adherence to IT policies, security standards, and procedures
- System installation and configuration for end-user devices
- Hardware deployment including imaging and asset tagging
- Timely patch management and software updates
- Network connectivity setup and troubleshooting support
