Production Operator – 1st Shift

We are looking for dependable Production Operators to join a manufacturing team on 1st shift. This position involves inspecting and packing ceramic parts, performing light finishing work, and operating basic production equipment as needed. This is a hands-on position that requires good attention to detail, consistent attendance, and the ability to stand for several hours at a time. On-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ceramic parts for defects and quality issues
• Pack finished products that meet quality standards
• Perform limited descaling and finishing using a file or grinder
• Operate a drill press using manual and foot-pedal controls as needed
• Operate a wet saw on a limited basis
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety and quality procedures
• Perform other production duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Manufacturing or production experience is helpful, but not required
• Good attention to detail
• Good vision, with corrective glasses if needed
• Ability to work safely around production tools and equipment
• Dependable and able to follow instructions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand in one place for several hours
• Good hand speed and coordination for inspecting and handling parts
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally (approximately 5% of the workday)
• Most individual parts weigh less than 1 lb.
