About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP of IT to spearhead the development and execution of a global IT strategy that is in line with the company's manufacturing and business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and scaling the technology organization across manufacturing sites and international markets, with a strong focus on IT infrastructure, global ERP deployment and optimization, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities for the VP of IT include providing leadership and guidance for ERP implementation, owning IT infrastructure and disaster recovery strategies, driving the integration of manufacturing systems, and establishing IT governance to ensure consistent and risk-aware practices. The role also involves partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive operational efficiencies and digital transformation initiatives. Applicants for the VP of IT position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or advanced technical degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive IT leadership experience in a global manufacturing environment is required, with a proven track record in leading global IT organizations and direct responsibility for cloud ERP platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in manufacturing systems, including MES implementations, and a strong proficiency in ERP, infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity best practices. The role demands excellent communication, change management, and people leadership skills, as well as the ability to collaborate and negotiate with senior stakeholders. The VP of IT will also be expected to manage multi-million-dollar IT budgets, drive cost optimization, and ensure clear measurement of ROI for IT initiatives.
