As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Ashburn, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a public school location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and other stakeholders while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at an educational government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing guests, and report unauthorized access or policy concerns to appropriate school personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with school staff, Allied Universal leadership, and local authorities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
