Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current or pending Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or progress toward completion
• Eligibility for Michigan state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous pediatric experience or enthusiasm for working with children in a school environment
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Compassion, adaptability, and dedication to supporting student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s unique needs
• Deliver therapy services in one-on-one or small group settings, addressing articulation, fluency, language, and more
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Contribute to IEP meetings and consult with teachers to facilitate classroom carryover
• Stay current with best practices and emerging research in speech-language pathology
