• Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice strength, and swallowing safety.
• Work collaboratively with a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, caregivers, and physicians to ensure a unified approach to patient care.
• Provide valuable education to patients and their families, empowering them to support progress outside of treatment sessions.
• Assist with inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions as needed, guaranteeing seamless continuity of care.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with regulations and organizational requirements.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in speech-language pathology.

Educational Background

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet holding ASHA certification.

Required Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is highly desired.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of starting the position.
