A full-time opportunity awaits for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist with a focus on Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) therapy. This role is based in Orange, CA, offering a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. The position is contract to hire, ideal for candidates seeking a stable yet dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinically manage and monitor patients receiving TPN therapy, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with dietitians, physicians, and pharmacy staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Review TPN formulations, laboratory results, and therapy progress; provide clinical recommendations for hospitalized patients transitioning to discharge.
• Deliver patient counseling and education related to medications and infusion therapies.
• Oversee sterile compounding activities as required, ensuring all preparations meet USP <797> standards.
• Maintain effective communication with both clinical and non-clinical team members.
• Serve as a clinical resource and demonstrate leadership within the pharmacy setting.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of recent sterile compounding and clinical pharmacy experience.
• Proven expertise managing TPN patients and clinical TPN therapy.
• Active and unrestricted California Pharmacist license, with the ability to obtain licenses in Mississippi and Alabama if applicable.
• Strong knowledge of USP <797> regulations and sterile pharmacy practices.
• Experience in home infusion pharmacy preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse healthcare professionals and patients.
• Demonstrated maturity, professionalism, and sound clinical judgment.
• Emotional intelligence with confidence in communicating across multidisciplinary teams.
