Human Resources (HR) Generalist

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a growing team. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing day-to-day HR operations with employee support and recruiting coordination. The person in this role will contribute across onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and HR systems while helping maintain an organized and responsive HR function.Responsibilities:• Manage core human resources activities across employee onboarding, record maintenance, and day-to-day administrative support.• Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and escalating issues when appropriate.• Coordinate recruitment support efforts, including recruitment activity for construction-related roles and communication with candidates and managers.• Administer benefits-related tasks such as enrollments, updates, and employee questions regarding available programs.• Maintain accurate information within the HRIS and ensure personnel data is current, complete, and properly documented.• Assist with preparing HR paperwork, tracking employment changes, and supporting compliance with company policies and procedures.• Partner with office leadership to help keep HR processes efficient and responsive in a small team environment.
