Position Overview

• Location: Blue Island, IL
• Position Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM
• Caseload: Behavioral Therapeutic Day School
• School Assignment: One Campus
• Teaching Model: Co-Teaching Position
• Student-to-Teacher Ratio: 5:1

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and manage IEPs for assigned students
• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction
• Collaborate closely with co-teachers and support staff
• Attend IEP, eligibility, and team meetings
• Track and monitor student academic and behavioral progress
• Maintain positive communication with families and district personnel

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois LBS1 License
• Special Education teaching experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
