Hiring Now: Special Education Teacher (LBS1)
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and experienced Special Education Teacher for a full-time position in Blue Island, Illinois . This role is based in a Behavioral Therapeutic Day School and offers an exceptional opportunity to support students in a structured, student-centered environment.

Essential Duties
- Provide specialized instruction to students receiving special education services
- Develop and update IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in eligibility, staffing, and annual review meetings
- Collaborate with parents, school staff, and district professionals
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
Qualifications
- Active Illinois LBS1 Certification Required
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education
- Strong understanding of IEP procedures and compliance
- Experience working with students with behavioral needs preferred
