Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work environment through our telehealth platform, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while providing crucial mental health support to our clients in San Diego, California. Your work schedule will generally run Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, with the understanding that some schedule flexibility may be required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments using evidence-based practices, crafting personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.

• Implement various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Maintain impeccable and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow counselors, to provide integrated care for clients.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to continually enhance the quality of care and share expertise with colleagues.

• Educate and support clients and their families, offering guidance on mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources for further assistance.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health practices to ensure cutting-edge therapy is delivered.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with clients experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, PTSD, and adjustment issues. Our diverse client base requires sensitivity and a flexible approach to accommodate varying cultural backgrounds and personal circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Demonstrated ability to apply solution-focused psychotherapeutic interventions tailored to individual client needs.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients and collaborate with the treatment team.

• A strong capacity for critical thinking and problem-solving, allowing for responsive care adjustments as client needs evolve.

• Prior experience in telehealth settings or with online therapy counseling is highly desirable.
