Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through telehealth consultations and document findings from initial assessments to discharge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with a diverse population, including adults struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. Your work will employ a trauma-informed care approach, recognizing the unique histories and challenges faced by clients in their recovery efforts. You will facilitate therapeutic relationships that empower clients to take charge of their mental health and well-being, creating pathways toward meaningful recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Successful completion and pass score of the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong foundation in mental health counseling practices with demonstrable previous experience in similar roles.

• Deep understanding of psychotropic medications and their effects, contributing to comprehensive treatment strategies.
