Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of youth clients, establishing rapport and fostering positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

• Conduct regular client meetings to track progress, discuss treatment plans, and evaluate the necessity of continued care, including discharge planning.

• Develop, implement, and continuously monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and treatment adjustments, compliant with clinical standards and regulations.

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to determine client needs and appropriate intervention strategies.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to guide treatment programs.

• Engage in individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers to promote integrated care approaches for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on youth clients dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. You will be essential in providing these young individuals with the tools they need to navigate their emotional and psychological landscapes effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or a related field is essential.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California is required.
