Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, enabling our clinicians to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing quality care to clients. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to work within a structured yet adaptable schedule. We support our clinicians with extensive administrative assistance, including credentialing, billing, and scheduling, so you can focus on what matters most – your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients, building rapport, and fostering positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to ethical guidelines and professional boundaries.

• Conducting regular meetings with clients to assess progress, discuss stability, schedule future appointments, and determine discharge readiness when appropriate.

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation including progress notes and treatment updates for each client in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Performing comprehensive intake assessments to determine the eligibility and specific needs of clients.
\n
• Facilitating individual therapy sessions each week, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote resilience and healing.

• Participating in regular individual supervision and team meetings to enhance clinical skills and develop best practices.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The successful candidate will work primarily with youth and adolescents who are navigating various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements in accordance with clinical guidelines.

• Minimum of two years of experience in the field, with a focus on assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for mental health conditions.

• At least one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance use populations preferred.

• Proficiency in utilizing technology and software for documenting client progress and treatment plans.

• Exposure to various therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.

• Prior experience in outpatient settings or similar environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for the Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor position ranges from $65,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
