Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate client symptoms, strengths, and treatment requirements, ensuring the development of personalized care plans.

• Create and implement culturally and family-centered treatment strategies that address the unique needs of individual clients, often incorporating various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Utilize trauma-informed practices to guide client interactions, actively promoting safety, choice, and empowerment throughout the therapeutic process.

• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals within a larger clinical team to ensure holistic care, including consultations with psychiatrists and social workers when necessary.

• Complete and maintain detailed clinical documentation, including assessments, service plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

• Manage a designated client caseload, making ongoing assessments of client progress and crisis situations, while providing timely interventions as needed.

Qualifications\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in trauma-informed care, telehealth services, and a working knowledge of community resources available in Chula Vista will have a distinct advantage. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems will aid in streamlining documentation processes.

We offer a competitive compensation package with an annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 based on qualifications and experience.
