Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments through preliminary interviews, ensuring comprehensive documentation from the initial consultation to treatment conclusion.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health, using standardized assessments and observational techniques.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, focused on measurable outcomes.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies and therapeutic techniques.

• Continuously monitor client progress throughout treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary based on feedback and clinical judgment.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff on comprehensive intervention plans to address co-occurring health issues.

• Engage in follow-up and coordination efforts for clients requiring hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse client population, which includes individuals facing various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Qualifications\n

• A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.

• Successful completion of the NCE and/or the NCMHCE examinations.

• Solid experience in the role of a mental health counselor, demonstrating clinical proficiency and insight.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems, including managing client data effectively in platforms such as AVATAR.

Compensation and Benefits\n
