Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $38.00 to $45.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review vendor accounts and resolve payment issues, outstanding balances, and account discrepancies.

• Research missing invoices, unmatched transactions, and unapplied payments to ensure accurate records.

• Reconcile vendor statements and aging reports to support timely and accurate payables processing.

• Partner with purchasing, operations, and supply chain teams to obtain required documentation and approvals.

• Support reporting, process improvements, and performance tracking initiatives within the accounts payable function.

Requirements:

• Ability to independently assess accounts payable issues and develop effective solutions with minimal supervision.

• Strong experience working directly with vendors to resolve billing concerns and payment disputes.

• Thorough understanding of purchase order processes, invoice matching, and payment workflows.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of full cycle accounts payable experience.

• Proficiency with NetSuite and experience navigating complex payables transactions.

• Background in manufacturing, distribution, inventory, or other product based environments.

• Previous experience performing vendor reconciliations and researching aged accounts payable balances.

• Proven ability to streamline processes, improve accountability, and reduce outstanding payables issues.
