Overview
Registered Nurse – LTC Supervisor, travel assignment in Waterloo, NY, starting 09/15/2026 for 23 weeks. Evening shift (2x8s) in a skilled nursing facility. Weekly pay range: $1,273–$1,310 per week. Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of nursing units under the direction of the Director of Nursing (LTC); provide clinical supervision to staff on multiple units.
- Ensure quality resident care through teaching and coaching of staff on respective shifts; monitor clinical practices and patient outcomes.
- Communicate identified and potential unit problems to the Director of Nursing or Nurse Manager; collaborate on timely solutions and, after hours, escalate only for critical items.
- Make sound administrative decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing and Administrator within defined responsibilities; maintain appropriate documentation and handoffs.
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff, department managers, ancillary services, and residents’ families to promote a healing environment and safe, respectful care.
- Demonstrate leadership, professional communication (written and verbal), and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure
- BLS certification (through AHA or RQI system)
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care nursing experience with supervision/clinical lead responsibilities across multiple units
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
- CPI knowledge or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire; familiarity with NYSDOH requirements
- Ability to collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams; computer literacy; ability to work in an LTC setting and evenings
