Overview
Registered Nurse – Med/Surg (travel assignment) in Geneva, NY. This opening supports a short-term acute care setting starting 09/21/2026 for up to 26 weeks (contract through January). Shift is 3x12 rotating days/nights with on-call coverage as needed. Weekly pay ranges from $2,067 to $2,163 per week; guaranteed hours are not guaranteed (0.0). This assignment requires NYS RN licensure, BLS, ACLS (AHA or RQI), NIHSS, and a minimum of two years of Med/Surg nursing experience.

Responsibilities
- Assess patient and family needs; develop an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Deliver direct nursing care, monitor patient progress, and adjust care as condition changes
- Administer medications and coordinate with the care team to ensure safe, effective treatment
- Educate patients and families, including self-care needs and post-discharge plans
- Document care actions, ensure infection prevention practices, and maintain a safe healing environment
- Support and mentor less experienced staff; participate in quality improvement activities as appropriate

Requirements
- Current NYS Registered Nurse licensure
- BLS; ACLS (AHA or RQI approved)
- NIHSS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
- Ability to work in a Med/Surg setting on a 3x12 rotating schedule
- Facility duties require knowledge of standard hospital safety and infection prevention protocols

Education
- RN degree from an accredited nursing program (license to practice in NY required)
