As a Speech Language Pathologist, every day you step into work, you will have the remarkable opportunity to address not just speech and swallowing disorders but unlock the door to connections that foster understanding and personal growth. Your expertise will ripple through ages and stages, helping young children articulate their feelings and supporting older adults on their journey to regain independence.
This position offers a rare chance to work with patients across a diverse spectrum in a dynamic environment that masterfully interweaves outpatient care with the possibility of inpatient interventions. Whether your heart lies with pediatric language development or adult cognitive rehabilitation, this role is designed to cultivate both your professional aspirations and your passion for making a lasting impact.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods.
Craft individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' unique communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.
Deliver engaging, one-on-one therapy sessions that focus on speech, language, fluency, voice, and dysphagia.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including occupational and physical therapists, nurses, and family members to ensure a well-rounded care approach.
Educate patients and their families to foster therapeutic progress beyond the clinic.
Participate in occasional inpatient services for speech therapy, maintaining care continuity through various treatment phases.
Document patient progress in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
Engage in ongoing learning and peer interactions to stay abreast of advancements in the field.
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.
Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
BLS certification is required within 30 days of employment.
Expertise in proven, evidence-based treatment modalities for clients of all ages, with a robust understanding of both developmental and acquired speech and swallowing disorders.
Exceptional communication skills to connect meaningfully with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Adaptability in therapeutic approaches to address the diverse cultural and linguistic needs of clients.
Strong clinical reasoning paired with creative problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable navigating electronic health record systems and maintaining thorough documentation practices.
Attractive compensation package reflecting experience and expertise.
Flexible scheduling options to promote work-life harmony and diverse patient caseloads.
This role offers the chance to specialize in pediatric care, neuro-rehabilitation, or geriatric services.
Generous paid time off (PTO) alongside holiday pay.
Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
Support for continuing education and professional growth.
An encouraging, team-focused work atmosphere dedicated to excellence in patient care and continuous learning.

Your day-to-day work will allow you to help shape the narratives of those who come through your doors, creating a space where healing and expression become synonymous.
Among a team that supports one another like family, you will find your professional spirit nourished in a collaborative environment where genuine care is prioritized over competition. Each patient you treat comes with their own story, and we entrust you to play a pivotal role in how that story unfolds.
