Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, providing you the autonomy to manage your work in a flexible setting, which is essential for maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend coverage on a rotating basis. Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough assessments to evaluate mood disorder symptoms in clients, examining their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that meet their unique needs and aspirations.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate positive mental health outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment modalities, and effective self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their responses to therapy.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, comprehensive care for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research findings and treatment methodologies in mood disorder therapy.

• Maintain secure documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in case consultations and staff meetings to discuss treatment approaches, share insights, and foster a culture of continuous professional development.

• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically focuses on individuals experiencing various mood disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, comprising individuals from different backgrounds and cultures, each with unique needs and perspectives regarding mental health treatment. As a therapist, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with your clients, helping to empower them in their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, with a focus on therapeutic approaches addressing mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
