Work Environment\n

This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while still enabling you to engage directly with clients at our detox center in San Diego, California. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to gauge developmental progress and identify areas of need.

• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring tailored support for families in line with child development milestones.
\n
• Monitor and document progress and outcomes as a collaborative team member, providing insights that enhance family support services.
\n
• Facilitate communication and foster rapport with children, families, and multidisciplinary team members to create a safe and healthy learning environment.
\n
• Develop joint plans with families, recommending strategies informed by Natural Learning Environment Practices to maximize developmental outcomes.
\n
• Implement the IFSPs consistently, adjusting service frequency based on each child's unique developmental status and family needs.
\n
• Educate families about child development, offering practical skills and support to empower them in promoting their child's growth.
\n
• Comply with all federal and state regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of the clients and staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children from infancy to three years of age who exhibit disabilities or developmental delays. The role requires a compassionate approach to work directly with these vulnerable populations, guiding families through challenging circumstances and helping them understand their child’s needs and strengths.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
\n
• Current licensure by the California Department of Public Health, specifically as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
\n
• You will need a valid driver's license and a willingness to travel when required for client sessions and community outreach.
\n
• A solid understanding of Natural Learning Environment Practices and the ability to adapt to varying learning styles to meet the individualized needs of children.
\n
• Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to juggle multiple clients and responsibilities effectively.
\n
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, vital for effective collaboration with families and team members.
\n
• Respectful demeanor and a commitment to collaboration within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least one year of experience working specifically with children in early intervention settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
