Opportunity to expand your accounting skills Pay up to $27/hour based on experience About the Opportunity Our client, a well-established company in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team in Laurel, MD. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–3 years of accounts payable experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and organization. Responsibilities Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and on time Review invoices for proper approvals and coding Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Assist with weekly check runs and ACH payments Reconcile employee expense reports and company credit card statements Support month-end close and prepare routine reports Qualifications 1–3 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience Experience with Sage 100 or similar accounting software preferred Strong Excel and Outlook skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr Matlock Group LLC
