Vice President - Credit & Portfolio Management
BNP Paribas
Vice-President, Senior Portfolio Financing
Asset Finance & Securitization (AFS) is a global business within BNP Paribas CIB, straddling activities across both Global Banking & Global Markets. The AFS umbrella includes several businesses, including Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO), Senior Portfolio Financing (SPF), Asset-backed Securities (ABS), Project & Infrastructure Finance, Transportation Finance, and Export Finance.
Senior Portfolio Financing offers standardized and bespoke financing & capital solutions to credit investors, including the largest CLO managers and direct lenders globally. The collateral spans liquid to illiquid credit assets, focused mainly on leveraged loans (broadly syndicated and middle market/private credit) and other high-yielding assets. Products include financing against portfolios of loans, such as (i) shorter-dated (1-3 years) warehouse financing intended to support CLO take-outs, (ii) longer-dated (3-5 years) senior portfolio financing that provides leverage to credit funds, supporting them through the lifecycle of their investment strategies and (iii) bespoke financing structure against ABS/RMBS warehouses and more esoteric asset-backed facilities. The adjacent CLO structuring team offers securitization (structuring and syndication) for leveraged and structured credit assets.

The successful candidate will act as the project manager and client-facing interface for multi-stakeholder transactions, serving as the central point for underlying-asset and sector analysis, portfolio management, and the improvement of systems that automate data processing and generate insights. - Run monthly presentations on financing facilities, aggregating inputs from Coverage Bankers, ABS & Senior Portfolio Financing specialists and other relevant groups.
- Prepare ad-hoc presentations on request from RISK or senior leadership.
- Produce P&L reports that highlight trends, break down revenue streams and support data-driven decision making.
- Oversee and drive quarterly diligence reviews with clients, covering platform updates, credit status, non-financial-risk assessments and any market-event-related queries.
- Operational robustness & systems (transversal issues)
- Oversee quarterly capital-charge calculations for financing facilities and evaluate the impact of regulatory changes on those charges.
- Partner with third-party vendors and internal IT teams to enhance the portfolio-management platform, driving functional improvements and automation.
- Verify data accuracy and the seamless flow of information across all system interfaces.
- Design, build and maintain a robust reporting architecture that delivers consistent, high-quality information on financing facilities to all stakeholders.
