Mayfair Care Center is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staffing Coordinator to join our corporate office. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Maintain a current listing of all resident care employee phone numbers

  • Update HR with current posting of all department managers phone numbers

  • Report in timely fashion necessary nursing department employee records upon hiring, job reclassification and discharge to HR

  • Assist employees in accurate completion of forms (i.e. leave and day off requests, time cards, etc.) pertinent to scheduling and staffing

  • Complete monthly nursing schedule coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units

  • Complete and post work sheets/time schedules. Coordinate variances with the DNS

  • Determine the staffing needs of the nursing service department necessary to meet the total nursing needs of the residents

  • Assign a sufficient number of certified nursing assistants, licensed practical and/or registered nurses for each tour of duty to ensure that routine nursing care is provided to meet the daily nursing care needs of each resident

  • Assist in completion and filing of designated reports in accordance with established policies and procedures

  • Monitor absenteeism to ensure that an adequate number of nursing care personnel are on duty at all times

  • Maintain payroll by collecting, calculating and entering data for Nursing department and/or others as assigned

  • Perform payroll operations such as correcting punches, investigating and verifying missing punches, and approving timecards.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.

• Attention to detail and a solid understanding of staffing principles and regulations.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
