HR Generalist

Job Description We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist who will play a crucial role in a human resources department. This position requires a versatile professional who can manage various HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, compliance, and assisting with ISO safety regulations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of HR best practices. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding. Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, mediate disputes, and support a positive workplace culture. Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations. Ensure the company’s HR policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local laws, including ISO safety regulations. Conduct new hire orientations and ensure smooth onboarding experiences for all new employees. Assist in the development and implementation of performance review processes and employee development programs. Qualifications: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on generalist functions. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, MS Office, and familiarity with payroll software. Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
