Financial Analyst

Job Description

Our client is looking to add an FP&A Analyst or Senior Analyst to their finance team for a temporary engagement. This is a hands-on role focused on the detailed, day-to-day execution of financial planning and analysis rather than high-level oversight alone. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing the month-end review and reporting cycle and delivering clear, Excel-driven financial insights to leadership. This is a great opportunity for an analytically minded FP&A professional to step in and make an immediate impact on a defined project.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for leadership review.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis against budget and forecast across the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Support the month-end close review and reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting to support leadership decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related finance role.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong comfort in the month-end review and reporting process.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
